It was one cold december, where people were rushing to close their doors protecting them from the cold weather there was a girl called Sumayya she is a typical Nigeria girl, with a dark skinned she's from jigawa state in Babura local government Area.

Her parents names were malam bala and sauce. She was born into an Average Family. She's the only female daughter they have amoung her 2 siblings Fahad and Haidar.

Fahad is the Eldest, followed by haidar then sumayya is the youngest amoung them.

One day Sumayya was ready to go to school and her mother told her.... I she have fry these Irish potatoes for you my beautiful daughter"

"Umma, where did you get the money to buy Irish potatoes?"

"You know your brothers love you very much. They are trying whatever work you know they can do. They work for a business center shop, and for a p.o.s"

"But it is said that the work of the p.o.s is a difficult task. If there is a problem, one can be arrested."

"Yeah honestly I'll tell them to stop the p.o.s, I also noticed it's a dangerous job. Hurry up and go to school don't be late "

Her brothers were at the University Fahad is in 300 level and haidar which recently started, is in 100 level.

Her brothers try their best to make sure that they pay her school fees and their maternal uncle sends them 50,000 every month. they use it to buy foods stuff and some other things.

Her uncle, Malam Shehu, earns 200,000 a month. He also has a family and carter their needs with it.

Although his children go to university, they each work to help their parents, that's why he's not worried.

When she arrived at school not less than 2 minutes. The biology teacher came in and told everyone to give him his assignment because he told them that when he came to the next class he would answer the assignment.

Everyone has done their assignment except for those two, hajara and bilkisu.

The teacher ask them out and told them to stand still until he has finished teaching that day.

He immediately points to the class and hands it to the class rep to share it to everyone.

After everyone saw what they have gotten from the test. the results of what he/she wrote, he said the one who won 10/10 and the one who won 9/10 should come out.

Then sumayya and Aminu came out. The teacher ask everyone to applaud for them. everyone applauded. he gave sumayya a new school bag, and he gave Aminu a mathematical set.

Everyone applauded, except for Hajara and Bilkisu, who were on the other side of the aisle hissing and eyeing sumayya.

Well, since the beginning of the school year, both hajara and sumayya have been constantly hating and jealous of sumayya because she's so brilliant and beautiful.

They often bully her that she's not smart and not classic, she's a poor girl that shows off her beauty as if she's at the top.

After the school closes everyone were ready to go home. when sumayya came out of the school those two girls followed behind her back and pushed her to the ground, and sumayya fell and her leg is wounded.

Sumayya being a smart girl didn't cry but stood up....." You girls are really funny instead of you girls to follow your driver you followed me just because you want to bully me, it seems like I have body guards these days even though I don't have a house driver that will be taking me home.

But you girls have nothing more important to do everyday than to follow me like my body guards"

"Sumayya yoy're such a stupid girl how dare you talk to us like that " bilkisu stated in anger"

"Bilkisu let us teach her a good lesson, tomorrow she will never call us her body guard again"

They began beating and kicking sumayya, and sumayya kept shouting for help. A guy came to rescue her. He saw the wicked girls beating her.

A guy named nuruddeen a senior student in ss3 came to rescue sumayya who's in jss3.

He drag the two girls and pushed them aside and said to them that tomorrow morning he will report them to the principle and will ask to be in charge of watching their class every Monday and Thursday.

Hajara and bilkisu kept begging him but he refused to listen to them, the helped sumayya to stood up.

The girls ran away in a worried situation.

"Sumayya right?"

"Yes senior"

"Let me take you home, can you show me your house. Your leg doesn't seem to be in a good state"

"No thank you senior I can manage"

"I don't like this name junior "

What nuruddeen said, made sumayya laugh.

"I seem funny. You can call me nuruddeen"

"I don't dare call you with your name, senior"

"Okay I know you don't want people to look suspicious of you, them call me senior nuruddeen"

"Okay thanks for saving me from those girls senior nuruddeen"

"Alright demonstrate me to your house"

"But I ....." Nuruddeen interrupted

"No but what if those girls come for you again"

"Okay"

When they arrived home, nuruddeen was surprised when sumayya said they have arrived at their house.

The house is small and build with a clay, how can some one beautiful and fair skinned live in such a house, that what nurudden said to sumayya, and that made her laugh for the second time.

"Everyone has his own way of life and what is written for them, who knows if we will later be rich in the future. The main thing for a human is to have peace of mind, food and shelter, we thank God we have peace of mind the only thing that bothers me is people of this town and my class mates that always moke me that am poor even though am beautiful it of no use"

"Don't pay heed to what people are saying, concentrate on your studies and became someone in life"

"Thank you senior nuruddeen"

Her mom came out and saw them. Nuruddeen greeted her mom.

Sumayya told her mom what happened and she thank nuruddeen for helping her daughter.

"Thank you young guy, we are really grateful, come in and have some water"

"Thank you Mam, am in a hurry to go home, but next time I will"

"Okay wish you safe trip to home"

Sumayya and nuruddeen baid each other good bye.
